Andrea Ixmucane is an Interior Designer and Stylist whose love for interiors started at a young age surrounded by the natural beauty of the San Francisco Bay Area. Growing up in a Guatemalan household, Andrea was constantly exposed to intricately handmade textiles, imperfectly hand-carved wood objects and an array of wonderfully spiced and seasoned food. This upbringing ignited an urge to travel the globe, where she constantly draws inspiration from the colors, textures/textiles and cultures she encounters.
Currently residing in Brooklyn, Andrea was drawn to New York City after studying Urban Studies and City Planning at San Francisco State University. For the past seven years, she’s eaten her way through some of the most notable NYC restaurants, while working on several projects and photo shoots in the tri-state area. Favorites include Cosme and Blue Hill at Stone Barns.
Recently relocated to Los Angeles, she works consistently in New York City and is available for travel.
